Now that I’ve officially wrapped up my final session of 2025, I’m finally catching my breath and getting back to something I’ve missed: blogging and reconnecting through my work. The fall season was a whirlwind in the best possible way. Busy, beautiful, emotional, and full of moments that reminded me why I love this job so much.
This year brought so many blessings, including a wave of new clients who trusted me with their memories. One of those couples was Victoria and Daniel, whose session quickly became one of my favorites. Victoria found me in a Facebook moms group, proof that sometimes the most meaningful connections come from the most everyday places. I’m so grateful she took a chance on me, and it was such a joy capturing their love and energy.
I’ll be honest… marketing is hard.
It’s one of the pieces of this business I continue to struggle with, especially the part where I actually put myself out there. Showing up online, talking about my work, promoting my services, none of that comes naturally to me. I’m much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of the screen trying to “sell” myself.
But this fall reminded me of something important: when I do show up, even imperfectly, people find me. They see my work, they connect with my heart, and they trust me with their stories. And that makes every uncomfortable step worth it.
As I move into a quieter season, I’m excited to pour more energy into blogging, sharing more sessions, and being a little braver with my marketing. If this year taught me anything, it’s that growth happens when you keep going, even when it feels hard.
Thank you to all my clients, new and returning, for making 2025 such a beautiful year. I can’t wait to share more of the stories we created together.
Here’s to fresh momentum, more connection, and showing up with purpose in the new year. 💛
