Downtown Libertyville is always charming, but during golden hour, it’s downright magical. I had the pleasure of photographing Anthony and Kathleen’s engagement session in Libertyville, IL as the sun cast the most beautiful light over the town’s cozy streets and brick facades.
We took our time wandering through the downtown area, stopping wherever the light and architecture inspired us—which was often! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect: warm enough to feel like summer was just around the corner, with just a touch of breeze to keep things comfortable.
As we strolled, we talked about all the exciting things ahead for them—their upcoming wedding, the details they’re most looking forward to, and their incredible honeymoon plans: a trip to Mt. Kilimanjaro! Their adventurous spirit and deep connection to each other made the session feel relaxed and full of joy.
