Bri’s senior session at the Lehmann Mansion in Lake Villa was one of those evenings that just felt like a perfect match between location and personality. The historic charm of the mansion, with its elegant architecture and timeless grounds, gave us a backdrop that elevated every moment without ever overpowering her.
As a Grayslake cheerleader, Bri brings a natural energy that shows up immediately in front of the camera, confident, poised, and completely present in the moment. But what stood out most during her session was how effortlessly she balanced that strength with a soft, genuine ease. She wasn’t just “posing for senior photos” she was fully stepping into this milestone, and it showed in every frame.
We moved through the grounds of Lehmann Mansion, taking advantage of the grand columns, textured stone, and golden-hour light filtering through the trees. Each setting gave us something a little different: polished and classic near the mansion, airy and natural along the open lawns, and more editorial and dramatic in the shaded pathways.
One of the best parts of working with seniors like Bri is capturing the in-between moments—the quick laughs, the subtle confidence shifts, and the way their personality comes through when they’re not thinking too hard about the camera. Bri’s session had a lot of those moments, and they made the gallery feel authentic and full of life.
To top it all off, Bri has been nominated for Inspiring Teen Magazine, which feels incredibly fitting. Her leadership, dedication to cheer, and the way she carries herself made it clear she’s someone worth celebrating beyond just her senior year.
