There’s something about a simple golden hour session that never gets old.
Warm light, a quiet setting, and the kind of calm that comes with the final stretch of senior year, this session with Avery was exactly that.
A Golden Hour to Remember
We met at a beautiful forest preserve in Lake County just as the sun was starting to set.
Golden hour always brings the softest light, and it created the perfect backdrop for a session that felt natural, relaxed, and true to Avery.
No pressure, no overcomplicating things, just a chance to capture this moment in time before everything changes.
Celebrating Senior Year
Avery is graduating from Wauconda High School, and like so many seniors, she’s standing right on the edge of something new.
There’s an excitement that comes with this season, but also a quiet appreciation for everything that’s led up to it.
Sessions like this are about holding onto that feeling just a little bit longer.
What’s Next
After graduation, Avery will be heading to Carthage College.
It’s such an exciting next chapter, filled with new experiences, new friendships, and so many opportunities ahead.
Keeping It Simple
Not every senior session needs multiple locations or outfit changes.
Sometimes the most meaningful sessions are the simplest ones, beautiful light, a great location, and a senior who’s ready to celebrate where they are right now.
